Travel plans for 2019 | Iguassu and Beyond

So I may or may not have been inactive on my blog for a little while. But that doesn’t mean that there hasn’t been things brewing on my end. I have finally booked a trip, after not setting foot outside of New Zealand in 2018 (that was tough). You’ve probably guessed from the title, where I’m headed. But regardless for the sake of announcement here it goes, I’m going to Argentina and Brazil.

Sure, it’s a short trip and I’m seeing a lot of the highlights at my stops, but hey I’m just trying to make the best with the hand I was dealt. For the first time ever, I’m doing a group tour. I’ve never done one of these before, but hey unless I try it, I won’t know if I like it.

South America will be the 5th continent I set foot on and I might just scrape through and make it to 20 countries after this trip. The big achievement, however, will be surpassing 100 cities! Maybe I should do a blog on that?

It feels surreal that I’m heading to places I’ve just read about or seen on TV. Iguassu Falls will be the third waterfall that I go to, that forms a border between 2 or more countries. I’m going to be seeing some Tango performances and eating great food. I’ll be seeing Christ the Redeemer.

The world truly is a wonderful place. I don’t want to give too much away on this blog as I don’t know much about the tour. But brace yourselves because Brazil and Argentina blogs are coming.

Have you been to either of these countries? Any tips you’d like to share?

Until next time,

MiliG
