FESTIVALS
Hidden Valley
Matakana Country Park | 27 December 2025; 27 December 2024
Hidden Valley is a massive summer festival bringing in over 12,000 patrons to the event. The festival celebrated its 10-year anniversary in December 2025. I was contracted to work the gates at Hidden Valley for the first time in 2024 and then in 2025. In 2024, I was stationed at the side gate that was set up for those who had opted to use the shuttle services from the city. I was in charge of wrist banding patrons as they entered through one of the lanes.
In 2025, my responsibilities grew as I was put in charge of managing the buses gate with a team of 14 staff. This gate in 2025, welcomed 5000 patrons, and had the accreditation for the local artists and their guests
Chaos in the CBD
Warehouse Mangere | 21 December 2025
I worked the gates as a ticket scanner at the Chaos in the CBD warehouse gig. It might have been a smaller show, but it was still full of energy, fast-paced moments, and the kind of hands-on experience that keeps me loving live events.
Our:House Festival
Studio the Venue | 21 November 2025
Our:House festival has been a long running festival. I was a ticket scanner at this event. The ticket platform used here was Flicket.
Touch Bass
Trusts Arena | 17 April 2025
Touch Bass is a high energy electronic music festival that has been running since 2017. This year the event was hosted at The Trusts Arena. I was one of the ticket scanners in the GA lane. The ticket platform used was Moshtix.
Purple Disco Machine
Hunting Lodge Winery | 26 January 2025
Purple Disco Machine made a stop in Auckland on his ANZ tour at the Hunting Lodge Winery. I was scanning tickets at this event.
Groove Armada
Church Road Winery, Hawke’s Bay | 25 November 2022
After a long break, English electronic music duo, Groove Armada, made their return to New Zealand and played a show in the Hawke’s Bay (before they made their way to Auckland). I was recruited to work for the food and beverage team and was stationed at PoS at the bar.
MAJOR EVENTS
All Blacks versus Springboks
Eden Park | 6 September 2025
The All Blacks versus Springboks game in on the 6th of September was a sellout event bringing in 48,000 patrons through the gates of Eden Park. I was running PoS at the merch stand stationed by Gate A.
Blues Double Header
Eden Park | 12 April 2025; 5 April 2025
HelloFresh is an official partner of the Blues men’s and women’s team. It is a multi-year partnership that began in 2025. As part of this partnership, they had activations at the Blues double headers at Eden Park in Auckland.
Being an official partner, HelloFresh had their box set up by the pitch whilst their spin the wheel activation was stationed by the entrance of gate A. Their spin the wheel activation was part of their lead generation strategy. As the face of HelloFresh at two of these games, I had to encourage patrons, over the age of 18, to participate in the spin the wheel competition.
Art in the Park
Eden Park | 19 - 22 September 2024
Art in the Park is an event celebrating New Zealand artists. The inaugural event began in 2021, and has now created a name for itself in the city’s event scene. In 2024, I worked PoS at their Sculpture Trail. This was the first point of entry, as patrons would enter the event through this area, and then make their way to the exhibition and to hear the artist talks. The cost of the sculptures ranged from two figure prices through to five figure prices.
Hoops & Life
Trusts Arena | 13 August 2022
Hoops & Life is a passion project for New Zealand legend, King Kapisi. He created this project for his key stakeholders, and to encourage youth into basketball and provide a platform for them to participate in music, dance, art, and more. Every event needs a floater ensuring each of the sections are well looked after, and that was my job here.
CONFERENCE PRODUCTION
Since 2017, my day job has been producing conferences. Putting together strong agendas with stellar speaker line-ups. I worked on conferences for different industries, but for a significant amount of time, I worked heavily on public sector and government events. I’ve had many career highlights in producing conferences in this time.
These include:
As the Event Manager for NZTech I worked on the Tech21 event which was the launch of TechWeek 2021. Working on this Summit gave me a taste of what I’ve always wanted to work towards – concerts. Kings was the opening act for the event, and I was successful in confirming him and working with his team to ensure his set was well executed.
I was also involved in leading the production and delivery of Techweek TV in 2022. I single-handedly developed the weeklong programme and delivered the production.
I developed a programme that sold out an inaugural conference that was introduced to the market in 2018, the STEAM Education Summit
